Research Symposium

 

 

The TSR&TP 22nd Annual Research Symposium will be held at the Doubletree Berkeley Marina hotel in Berkeley on May 1-2, 2009. Those funded by the TSR&TP are invited all expenses paid for both days. The general public is invited for the Saturday session.

The TSR&TP holds an annual symposium to showcase research supported by the program in the past year. Friday evening there will be informal poster viewing and a banquet, followed by a keynote on ecotoxicology by Tyrone Hayes. On Saturday, TSR&TP affiliates will present the results of their research in two poster sessions. Last year's best poster winners will speak on their research and there will be additional speakers followed by a group discussion and a banquet luncheon.

General Public Registration The general public is invited to attend the Saturday session. Pre-registration by April 15th is required. The fee is $25 and includes the banquet luncheon.

Poster Guidelines Each person who was funded by the TSR&TP this year is expected to bring a poster to the Symposium. You may use the TSR&TP logo on your posters at the Symposium. Links to logo downloads are available from this page.
Abstract Guidelines The TSR&TP prints a Symposium Program that contains abstracts for all posters exhibited at the Symposium. Everyone presenting a poster must submit an abstract.

Affiliate Registration

Register for the symposium. The registration deadline is March 13, 2009 to ensure accommodations and meals at the symposium. (You must first login - see your invitation email for details).

Make your travel arrangements. Travel arrangements also must be finalized on the website by March 6th.

Submit abstracts for your poster(s). Abstracts must be entered on the website by March 20, 2009 to be published in the Symposium Program.

TSR&TP Logo Downloads Students and researchers funded by the TSR&TP may use the progam logo on their poster. Several different downloads of the logo are available.
